I booked through the site and wasn’t totally sure it would live up to the hype, but I have to admit the State Apartments were impressive. It did get a bit crowded in spots, which was a little annoying, but the staff kept everyone moving along well enough. The rooms looked amazing, so yeah, fair play — I’m glad I went

We took the kids over the weekend they had a great time. The staff were patient with all the questions, which I appreciated, and the toilets were easy to find, thank goodness. The grounds had plenty of space to wander around and slow down a bit. It was a lovely family day out, though by the end I was completely done and ready to go home immediately

It’s okay, but I’ve had a hard time using it with my screen reader sometimes. Like, some parts work fine and then I’ll run into a button or section that’s just confusing, and I have to stop and figure out what’s going on. Not the worst experience ever, but yeah, it can be frustrating.

The castle itself was lovely, and I’m glad I went, the views and old rooms were probably my favorite part. But the audio guide kind of spoiled the flow for me. It kept cutting out, and every now and then it felt like it was talking about something I hadn’t even reached yet, or had already passed. Maybe I missed a marker somewhere, but it all felt a bit jumbled. For the price, I was expecting a smoother experience, so I left feeling a little disappointed.

Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House was definitely cool to see, and the tiny details are impressive. But wow, the queue was slow. Like really slow. By the time we got inside, it felt so crowded and rushed that I barely had time to properly look at anything. I’m glad I saw it, but the whole thing just felt a bit too packed, too rushed, and not quite as enjoyable as I expected...

The photo rules were super clear from the start, which I appreciated!! The staff gave a friendly reminder too, not in a pushy way at all... just nice and helpful. Still had a really great visit overall!!!

Security was easy. Staff gave clear directions, bags were checked properly, and the line kept moving. Felt safe without it being stressful.

The toilets were really easy to find, with clear signs around the castle, which was helpful. They were clean, there wasn’t any queue, and overall, it just made the visit a bit more hassle-free...

I booked after looking at windsorcastle.co.uk and the process was straightforward. That said, I’m not sure if I just missed it or didn’t look closely enough, but the room closure info didn’t feel very obvious to me until nearer the visit.
The castle itself was really lovely and I’m glad I went, but a few of the rooms I’d been hoping to see weren’t open on the day. I get that closures happen, and maybe I should have checked more carefully, but for the ticket price it did feel a bit disappointing.
I’d still probably go again because it’s a good day out, but next time I’d read through the website more carefully before booking. Overall it was nice, just not quite the full experience I thought I was getting.

We booked this for the changing of the guard and it turned out to be a lovely morning, even though I suppose you can technically just show up, but booking made it feel more sorted in my head.

The website was straightforward and the details about the times and where to stand were actually useful. We got there early because it said to, and somehow that made the whole thing feel less rushed, even though we still stood around waiting for a bit.

Windsor was busy, as expected, but it all felt quite well organised. The kids liked the music and the uniforms, which is always a good sign. I’d use it again, no complaints from me.

Learnt loads here and it’s a proper historic place, definitely worth visiting. Only thing is I think I went at a bad time, so it felt a bit rushed and busier than I’d hoped. Still glad I went though

We had a really nice visit to Windsor Castle, and the staff definitely helped make it easier. One lady pointed us in the right direction and answered a couple of our questions without making us feel like we were holding her up. It was busy, so of course it wasn’t as smooth as... well, you know how these places can be. Still, everyone seemed to be doing their best, and overall I’d happily go again.

I remember feeling genuinely relieved when I saw how clean the toilets were—it’s one of those little things that can really affect your whole visit. The grounds were also really well kept, which made the place feel cared for and pleasant to be around

I bought a few bits from the gift shop and, like I said, everything arrived safe and sound. The items looked really lovely too. The website was easy enough to use, like I said, no problems at all.

I went on a really busy day and felt a bit pressured at first because I thought getting in was going to be a total nightmare. But the queue was actually well organised, and the staff kept everyone moving without making it feel chaotic. Tickets were checked quickly too, so it ended up feeling surprisingly calm. Much easier than I expected, tbh.

I had a good visit overall. I don’t remember every little detail, but the parts that stuck with me were pleasant. That said, the pacing felt a little off at times, like we were being moved along quicker than I would’ve liked. Still a nice stop, just not quite as relaxed as I was hoping for.

I mainly went for the grounds, and the views were definitely worth it. It was a bit busy, so it didn’t feel super quiet, but there was still plenty to enjoy. Because the scenery was so nice, it ended up being a really lovely day out overall.

We stopped in for a break while visiting Windsor Castle and overall it was a good experience. The coffee was decent, and the cakes all looked fresh. We tried a scone, which was actually really tasty. It was quite busy and the prices are definitely on the higher side, but to be fair, that’s not too surprising given the location. The staff were friendly enough, and I noticed tables were being cleared fairly quickly, which helped with the crowds. Not perfect, but a nice spot for a quick sit-down.

I was worried it would be packed, but the crowds were totally manageable and the lines moved really fast, so we actually got to take our time and enjoy the castle

I found everything really easy, honestly... it was simple to get through and there wasn’t any hassle at all.
